- The world’s oldest national newspaper, Vienna-based Wiener Zeitung, ended its daily print edition after 320 years. The newspaper began publishing in 1703.
- India has become the second-largest country with the biggest road network, surpassing China. The United States remains in the number one position. India achieved this by spreading 1.45-lakh km of road connectivity over the last 8 years.
- Nationalist Congress Party’s Ajit Pawar, along with eight party leaders, joined the Maharashtra government today. Mr. Pawar will share the Deputy Chief Minister post with BJP’s Devendra Fadnavis.
