  • Monsoon rainfall wreaked havoc in parts of north India on Monday, especially in Himachal Pradesh. Till now 72 people have been killed in Himachal due to the monsoon fury.
  • Investment Bank Goldman Sachs has said that India is poised to become the world’s second-largest economy by 2075, surpassing Japan, Germany, and the U.S.
  • Parth Salunkhe became the first male archer to win a gold in the recurve category at the Youth World Championships in Limerick, Ireland.
