  • India’s Coal and Lignite Production Milestone: Coal Minister Pralhad Joshi announced that India’s coal and lignite production has crossed one billion tonnes for the first time.
  • India’s Defence Exports: Raksha Mantri Rajnath Singh reported that India’s defence exports have surpassed ₹21,000 crores in the 2023-24 fiscal year.
  • Miami Open Men’s Doubles Victory: Indian tennis star Rohan Bopanna, alongside Australian partner Matthew Ebden, won the men’s doubles final at the Miami Open. Bopanna became the oldest man to win an ATP Masters 1000 title and the second Indian to reach the finals of all nine ATP Masters 1000 events.
